Annual Golf Classic
The ILC’s Annual Golf Classic is one of the school’s signature fundraising events. Established in 1999, the Classic brings together sponsors, golfers and other ILC supporters from Fortune 500 companies and small businesses nationwide and in the Greater Boston area. All proceeds provide direct support for ILC programs and student services.
ILC’s Eleventh Annual Golf Classic Scores a Hole-In One
On Monday, June 15, 2009, The ILC hosted 129 golfers at Kernwood Country Club in Salem, MA, for the school’s eleventh annual tournament. Unlike last year, golfers enjoyed partly sunny skies and gentle breezes. The day included a barbecue lunch, reception, clambake dinner, silent and live auctions and a raffle. Proceeds from this sold-out event, which now total over $1.6 million, directly support ILC programs and student services. In light of the current economic downturn, this fundraising event scored a hole-in-one! The ILC is deeply grateful to all sponsors and Friends of The ILC, especially lead sponsors Reit Management & Research and the law firm of Sullivan and Worcester, for making this event such as success. The school also thanks the golfers who came from near and far, ILC staff and volunteers for their continued support. The ILC looks forward to another great event in 2010.
