The ILC hosts an annual International Day in the spring produced by ILC students. It is an opportunity for them to share their cultural heritage with the community. Students delight guests with colorful native attire, music and dance performances, artifacts, poster displays and an abundance of ancestral food. International Day embraces that which makes people of the world unique and what commonly unites us as members of the “Family of Man.” ILC students seek to break down barriers of misunderstanding between native- and foreign-born residents and to open the door for greater understanding, communication and appreciation.
