Immigrant Entrepreneur Interview Series

Immigrant entrepreneurs bring with them a determination and creativity that reinvigorate declining communities, create jobs for Americans and keep the U.S. on the cutting edge of innovation. While much is heard of immigrant businesses, The ILC Public Education Institute gives voice to the entrepreneurs and innovators who help to strengthen America’s economy like immigrants before them.

Here is a collection of videos where immigrant entrepreneurs tell their stories in their own words and episodes of JobMakers, a podcast collaboration between The Immigrant Learning Center and the Pioneer Institute where entrepreneurs and policy experts discuss the impact of immigrant entrepreneurs.

Learn more of the unique journeys and resilience of foreign-born entrepreneurs with stories such as a refugee child who escaped pirates and grew up to found a law firm, a woman of color who opened a hedge fund in her dorm room and much more.
