Take free English Classes at The ILC.
The Immigrant Learning Center offers free English classes to immigrants and refugees ages 16 and older. All classes are taught in English with instruction in speaking, reading, writing, listening, grammar, computer skills, and college and career preparation. We have English Literacy classes for focused instruction in reading and writing.
We have a long waiting list, so please come to register as soon as possible.
The ILC offers English classes at two different times:
Morning Classes
Monday through Friday
9:00 AM to 11:30 AM
Afternoon Classes
Monday through Thursday
12:00 PM to 3:00 PM
We also offer U.S. citizenship preparation classes.

To Register for Classes
To register for class, please come in person to:
The Immigrant Learning Center
442 Main Street, Malden, MA.
Monday through Friday 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
You may bring an interpreter with you.
After You Register for Classes
After you register for classes, your name will be on the waiting list. We will email and text you frequently to confirm your continued interest. It is important to respond, and it is important to keep your contact information up-to-date.
