Learn about The ILC’s Teaching U.S. Immigration series at this poster presentation. This series of resources provide teachers with tools to explore immigration through the lens of the history and social studies curriculum already being taught. Each bundle focuses on a major event or time period, from the American Revolution to the Industrial Revolution, and provides classroom-ready lessons, activities, and instructional resources that center primary sources from the Library of Congress. Students are invited to do the critical work of making connections between history and the present day and considering their place in this history as it continues. This project is sponsored in part by the Library of Congress Teaching with Primary Sources Eastern Region Program, coordinated by Waynesburg University.
