Dries Buytaert began building Drupal, a free, open-source, website-building platform, at age 19 in a dorm room in his native Belgium. In 2007, he relocated to Massachusetts to found Acquia, which provides enterprise software like Drupal to create engaging digital experiences. Today it powers two percent of the world’s websites and its clients include Twitter, NBC and even the White House.
