Huoi Trinh came to the U.S. from Vietnam with lots of family and a big dream. Starting out as a seamstress in South Boston’s Fields Corner neighborhood, she sewed traditional Vietnamese clothing and soon realized she could play a more significant role in the local community.
Trinh began sourcing and buying Vietnamese gift items. The strategy worked. Today, My Xuyen Corp. occupies a prominent retail space in Fields Corner and offers far more than traditional gifts.
